WHEEL (Whole history of Earth environmental change recorded locations)
Goal: To establish an international research base capable of efficient research and analysis with the aim of “integrating elucidation of large-scale environmental changes in the history of the earth”.
In particular, we are collaborating with countries that have “stratums not found in the Japanese island” that recorded the period of large-scale environmental changes in the Precambrian Era, and we are working to restore and restore history from a global perspective for events that will be a major turning point in the history of the earth. We aim to compare and elucidate the mechanisms of environmental changes that occurred in each era .

目標：「地球史上における大環境変動の統合解明」をめざし，効率的な調査／分析が行える国際研究拠点を設立する．特に，先カンブリア時代の大規模環境変動時代を記録した”日本列島にない地層”を持つ国々との研究協力を行い，地球史上で一大変換点となる事件に対し，グローバルな視点からの歴史復元と各時代に起こった環境変動メカニズムの比較・解明を目指す．
